We are a family run kennel. We absolutely love Labrador Retrievers and completely understand why they were the A.K.C.’s most popular dog for 31 years! We started breeding labradors in 2006, because we wanted to share the qualities in the labradors that we owned, with other families! We focus on healthy, socialized, intelligent, athletic and calm Labrador puppies. We take time to find the right breeding pairs so the puppies will have those traits. Our dogs are not just animals, they are family!
We have been breeding Labradors since 2006. Laura has a great fondess for Labs, having had them in her family since she was 6 years old. Laura’s first few litters were in Ohio, then she moved to Montana. Duke, a white English lab who was given to us by Laura’s dad, to help ease the loss of our 13 yr old lab, Dakota in 2019. It was when Duke was 2 yrs. old that we decided to start breeding labs. Laura knew she needed a female, but wanted one with certain attributes: smart, athletic, loving and calm. In Montana, bird hunting is still going strong, so she decided to purchase a pointing lab female, Beth, to breed to Duke. Beth was 1.5 yrs. old when we got her, and they had their first litter at the end of August 2020. You can learn more about Beth and Duke on the “Our dogs” part of the site.
We do health testing on our dogs that we use to breed to ensure we aren’t breeding dogs that will pass health issue to their puppies. We also OFA or Penn testing for hips and elbows. All of our puppies are vet checked before they are released to their new owners. We believe in heavy socialization as part of a healthy upbringing of our puppies. Once they are vaccinated, the puppies meet new people, take car rides, go to the local parks, and get tons of love from our family and friends. Our puppies are sold with A.K.C. registration application, 26 month genetic health guarantee, are up to date on vaccinations, wormed every 2 weeks from the time they are 2 weeks old, 5 generation pedigree, a puppy care pack, and a blanket with mom’s scent to help ease the transition to a new home.
Our puppies have went on to be family pets, hunting companions, service dogs, dock diving competitiors, and more! Males will mature to 70-75 lbs. and females will mature to 60-65 lbs.
